47 State Compliant

Although just shy of 50 state compliant, (sorry New York, Illinois, and Washington) the Br4 gives people in other 2A unfriendly states a modern choice in a go-to carbine. DISSENT upper compatibility means the Br4 can be configured for any use, be it self-defense, hunting, or target shooting/sporting use.

Remington 870 Stock Compatible

All Br4 rifles are compatible with Remington 870 pattern stocks and come standard with the Magpul SGA 870 stock.

7 Calibers - 2 Barrel Lengths

The Br4 DISSENT is available in 7 different calibers with 2 of those having a 16.1" or 14.5"(pinned & welded to 16.1") barrel lengths.

Enhanced Trigger

When you have something good there's no sense in changing it. The Br4 DISSENT uses the same  ZEROED Single Stage Drop-In Trigger cassette as the rest of the CMMG lineup but with a modified trigger linkage to work in the Br4 lower receiver. What you end up with is a crisp 4.5 lb single stage trigger with a match grade feel and duty grade durability for those tough primers.

ZEROED Ambi Controls

We couldn't call it "modern" without some "modern" features could we? The Br4 uses familiar ZEROED controls like the oversized bolt catch, ambi mag catch/release buttons, reversible non-reciprocating charging handles, and a reversible cross bolt safety.

Reversible Cross Bolt Safety

The cross-bolt safety is a hallmark of many legendary rifles that precede the Br4. CMMG brought this into the modern era by placing it above the trigger for intuitive operation and making it reversible so it can be best configured for left hand vs right handed shooters.

Compatible with all DISSENT Mk4 Upper Groups

That's right, all of your favorite Mk4 compatible DISSENT upper groups are also compatible with the Br4 lower receiver. 

Note: Putting an upper with a barrel length less than 16.1" on a rifle lower is considered an SBR and subject to NFA regulations. 

Bufferless Compact Action

Our patented Compact Action is the heart of all DISSENTS. It eliminates the need for a traditional AR15 buffer tube and action spring, keeping everything light and tight and all contained in the upper receiver.
