Installing a .22 LR Conversion Kit in a 5.56mm AR15 or CMMG Mk4 5.56mm upper
- Remove the magazine and verify your firearm is unloaded.
- Push the takedown pin and swing the upper and lower receiver apart.
- Remove the 5.56 bolt carrier group.
- Make sure the black protective cap on conversion BCG is removed and install into the upper receiver as you would the standard BCG.
Installing a .22LR Conversion Kit in a 5.56mm DISSENT Upper
- Remove the magazine and verify your firearm is unloaded.
- Push the takedown pin and swing the upper and lower receiver apart.
- Remove the 5.56 bolt carrier group.
- Slide the DISSENT 22 Conversion Adapter into the upper with the arrows facing up and forward towards the muzzle. This piece is included with 5.56mm DISSENT firearms and is also available on the CMMG website.
- Make sure the black protective cap on conversion BCG is removed and install into the upper receiver as you would the standard BCG.
